Waltzing Matilda's Wine Maker Storm "Ernie"
Ernie is our first full parti boy. He is from our Syrah/Spencer litter. Spencer is in Templeton California, so Syrah and I went out to meet him and spend some time touring wine country with friends. Ernie is named after one of my favorite wine makers, Ernst Storm. Storm Wines is in Santa Barbara County, CA. Ernst is making some of the best wine out there! I'm partial to his Pinot's but they are all fantastic. If you are in the region, make sure you do a tasting, if not you can order his wine from his website. You can also visit our friend Joni at the Von's in Montecito. She carries Storm and most of the regional wines at great prices. Either way, give it a try... you will be glad you did!
Ernie is a perfect medium size, and his conformation is amazing. He is a nice stocky, blocky, solid boy, with a silky soft, relaxed fleece, Red/White Parti coat. He has the most gorgeous eyes, that look right through you. He is a super sweet, gentle, love bug. Ernie lives in Catonsville, MD with his wonderful guardian family.His family can't say enough about what a great dog he is. They absolutely adore him. He carries the rufus gene whitch produces dark reds that stay dark and often get darker over time. We are looking forward to lots of gorgeous puppies from him. How could they not be??!!
